Q. What is your most popular item? A. Our most popular indoor item is our cedar log beds and the outdoor item is our cedar log swings. Q. Is the hardware included with the cedar furniture? A. Yes, all the hardware needed for assembly of the log furniture is included with the package. Q. Should I put a stain or varnish on the furniture? A. A stain is a great choice for cedar furniture that is going to be outdoors in the elements. And an oil based varnish or water based varnish is a great choice for the indoor furniture. The water based varnish will not turn dark over time. Q. How long will the cedar last for outside? A. Well, it has been said that cedar will last for up to 50 years left unfinished, but that is far from the truth. Cedar will last for about 15 to 20 years outside if left unfinished. If it has a stain applied to it we have seen it last a lot longer than that. Q. How long after I make a purchase does it take for delivery? A. Example: If you order a log chair today, we will ship it in about 2 to 3 days, with delivery depending on the trucking company used. Q. Can I send a check for the order? A. Absolutely, we will send out the cedar furniture as soon as we receive the check. Q. What do I do if a part breaks on a piece of your cedar log furniture? A. If the piece breaks, due to a manufacturing error, send it back and we will send a replacement piece immediately after determining it was indeed a manufacturing error. Q. What is the difference between your "all cedar log beds" and the metal framed beds that I see on other sites? A. Our log beds have a trust rail system down each side of our beds, giving the bed 2 rails on each side that work against each other for added support. The rails are doweled to fit into each headboard and footboard. The difference between this style and the metal style, is that the metal frames are bolted and will strip out the wood over time and use. Q. There are 3 log cross braces that support the box spring. Q. Is there a middle support on your king log bed or king canopy log beds? A. Yes, on both of our king log beds there is center support. |
